I am an ENT surgeon and a sleep medicine specialist, with 20 years of clinical practice, surgery, research and healthcare management, and three years in Europe between a master's degree in Barcelona and a hospital observership in Madrid. I see patients in São Paulo and online, in four languages: men and women who have already tried everything to sleep better.

I spent years operating, seeing patients and leading teams while treating sleep as the negotiable part of the day. It is not. When my own sleep finally sent the bill, I understood in practice what the research had been saying all along: sleep is not a lifestyle detail, it is a vital function.
That is when sleep medicine stopped being one more specialisation on my CV and became the centre of my work. I chose to stay at the crossing of two fields that rarely talk to each other: the airway, which is ENT territory, and sleep, which belongs to the sleep physician. A great many diagnoses are lost precisely at that border.
After three years in Europe, between the master's degree in health technologies in Barcelona, research, and an observership in hospitals in Madrid, I came back to São Paulo with the same conviction: science delivered calmly, so that people understand their own bodies rather than being frightened by them.

Medical school, residency and fellowship at leading public institutions in Brazil.
Internationally recognised sleep medicine credentials, in Brazil, Europe and the United States.
Surgical training specific to snoring and apnea, including robotic techniques.
Clinic, hospital and surgery in Brazil, with training and an observership in Spain.
Resident teaching, scientific peer review and clinical research in sleep and digital health.
Brazilian and Luxembourgish, with clinical training and practice in Spain. I see patients in four languages, without an interpreter and without losing nuance, which matters when the subject is sleep, routine and symptoms that are hard to describe.
